He has shared stages with talented recording artists such as Lee fields, Roy Roberts, Denise lasalle, Bobby Rush, Jessie James, Tyrone Davis, and Chuck Roberson. In the 70's and 80's he made his living playing bass for several bands in New Jersey, New York and South Carolina. He is an extremely talented guitarist who travels the country playing Jazz and Rhythm and Blues. SaRon Crenshaw learned to play guitar at the age of ten. His early influences were John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Grover Washington Jr., Hank Mobley, Dexter Gordon, and Freddie Hubbard. After attending the Baltimore School for the Arts and Frederick Douglass High School (whose alumni include Cab Calloway), Carrington was awarded a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. Steve Carrington is a spectacular saxophonist, born in East Baltimore, Maryland, Steve began playing the saxophone at age seven.
